Sign-On Bonus

This bonus is to be paid at a rate of $200 per week, starting one week after the first dispatch, and $200 per week for the next four weeks. Please note: owner operators leaving the company prior to the completion of six months will forfeit this bonus.

Fuel Surcharge
Ninety-four percent of total fuel surcharge will be passed through to the owner operator. During the second full year, and all subsequent years after, TAS Transport, LTD will reimburse owner operators for the 2290 Federal Highway Use tax.

Payment & Services Covered

Along with your weekly settlements from us as a driver, you earn fuel cards, cargo and liability insurance, and assistance with base plates, permits, and fueling. You can also receive bonuses for clean roadside inspections, clean quarterly inspections, and annual safety checks. Ask us about setting up direct deposit for optimal convenience.

Upon your hiring, you will cover the cost of plates, but this charge will be gradually eased with our financial assistance over time. Starting in year five, we will assume the full cost of plates.

Labor & Health Insurance

Your health insurance coverage can be purchased easily through TAS Transport, LTD. Owner operator trucking with us means that you can expect 100 percent pass-through benefits on your insurance. Beginning with the third full year, we will pay for half of your health insurance premiums, though family members will cost extra.

Trailers

If you need trailers, they are available at a small cost (plus $50 for weekly maintenance).
